The LORD said to Moses and Aaron, "These are the regulations for the Passover: "No foreigner is to eat of it.
Any slave you have bought may eat of it after you have circumcised him,
but a temporary resident and a hired worker may not eat of it.
"It must be eaten inside one house; take none of the meat outside the house. Do not break any of the bones.
The whole community of Israel must celebrate it.
"An alien living among you who wants to celebrate the LORD's Passover must have all the males in his household circumcised; then he may take part like one born in the land. No uncircumcised male may eat of it.
The same law applies to the native-born and to the alien living among you."
Exodus Chapter 12: Verses 43 - 49
but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates.
Exodus Chapter 20: Verse 10
"Do not mistreat an alien or oppress him, for you were aliens in Egypt.
Exodus Chapter 22: Verse 21
"Do not oppress an alien; you yourselves know how it feels to be aliens, because you were aliens in Egypt. Sabbath Laws
"For six years you are to sow your fields and harvest the crops,
but during the seventh year let the land lie unplowed and unused. Then the poor among your people may get food from it, and the wild animals may eat what they leave. Do the same with your vineyard and your olive grove.
"Six days do your work, but on the seventh day do not work, so that your ox and your donkey may rest and the slave born in your household, and the alien as well, may be refreshed.
Exodus Chapter 23: Verses 9 - 12
They are to eat these offerings by which atonement was made for their ordination and consecration. But no one else may eat them, because they are sacred.
Exodus Chapter 29: Verse 33
Say to the Israelites, 'This is to be my sacred anointing oil for the generations to come.
Do not pour it on men's bodies and do not make any oil with the same formula. It is sacred, and you are to consider it sacred.
Whoever makes perfume like it and whoever puts it on anyone other than a priest must be cut off from his people.' " Incense

Leviticus Chapter 16: Verse 29
"Say to them: 'Any Israelite or any alien living among them who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice
and does not bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to sacrifice it to the LORD -that man must be cut off from his people.
" 'Any Israelite or any alien living among them who eats any blood,I will set my face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from his people.
For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life.
Therefore I say to the Israelites, "None of you may eat blood, nor may an alien living among you eat blood."
" 'Any Israelite or any alien living among you who hunts any animal or bird that may be eaten must drain out the blood and cover it with earth,
because the life of every creature is its blood. That is why I have said to the Israelites, "You must not eat the blood of any creature, because the life of every creature is its blood; anyone who eats it must be cut off."
" 'Anyone, whether native-born or alien, who eats anything found dead or torn by wild animals must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be ceremonially unclean till evening; then he will be clean.
Leviticus Chapter 17: Verses 8 - 15
But you must keep my decrees and my laws. The native-born and the aliens living among you must not do any of these detestable things,
Leviticus Chapter 18: Verse 26
Do not go over your vineyard a second time or pick up the grapes that have fallen. Leave them for the poor and the alien. I am the LORD your God.
Leviticus Chapter 19: Verse 10
" 'When an alien lives with you in your land, do not mistreat him.
The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native-born. Love him as yourself, for you were aliens in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.
Leviticus Chapter 19: Verses 33 - 34
"Say to the Israelites: 'Any Israelite or any alien living in Israel who gives any of his children to Molech must be put to death. The people of the community are to stone him.
Leviticus Chapter 20: Verse 2
" 'No one outside a priest's family may eat the sacred offering, nor may the guest of a priest or his hired worker eat it.
But if a priest buys a slave with money, or if a slave is born in his household, that slave may eat his food.
If a priest's daughter marries anyone other than a priest, she may not eat any of the sacred contributions.
But if a priest's daughter becomes a widow or is divorced, yet has no children, and she returns to live in her father's house as in her youth, she may eat of her father's food. No unauthorized person, however, may eat any of it.
" 'If anyone eats a sacred offering by mistake, he must make restitution to the priest for the offering and add a fifth of the value to it.
The priests must not desecrate the sacred offerings the Israelites present to the LORD
by allowing them to eat the sacred offerings and so bring upon them guilt requiring payment. I am the LORD, who makes them holy.' " Unacceptable Sacrifices
The LORD said to Moses,
"Speak to Aaron and his sons and to all the Israelites and say to them: 'If any of you,either an Israelite or an alien living in Israel,presents a gift for a burnt offering to the LORD, either to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering,
Leviticus Chapter 22: Verses 10 - 18
and you must not accept such animals from the hand of a foreigner and offer them as the food of your God. They will not be accepted on your behalf, because they are deformed and have defects.' "
Leviticus Chapter 22: Verse 25
" 'When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and the alien. I am the LORD your God.' " Feast of Trumpets
Leviticus Chapter 23: Verse 22
anyone who blasphemes the name of the LORD must be put to death. The entire assembly must stone him. Whether an alien or native-born, when he blasphemes the Name, he must be put to death.
Leviticus Chapter 24: Verse 16
You are to have the same law for the alien and the native-born. I am the LORD your God.' "
Leviticus Chapter 24: Verse 22
Whatever the land yields during the sabbath year will be food for you,for yourself, your manservant and maidservant, and the hired worker and temporary resident who live among you,
Leviticus Chapter 25: Verse 6
" 'If one of your countrymen becomes poor and is unable to support himself among you, help him as you would an alien or a temporary resident, so he can continue to live among you.
Leviticus Chapter 25: Verse 35
You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property.
You can will them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly.
" 'If an alien or a temporary resident among you becomes rich and one of your countrymen becomes poor and sells himself to the alien living among you or to a member of the alien's clan,
he retains the right of redemption after he has sold himself. One of his relatives may redeem him:
Leviticus Chapter 25: Verses 45 - 48
Whenever the tabernacle is to move, the Levites are to take it down, and whenever the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites shall do it. Anyone else who goes near it shall be put to death.
Numbers Chapter 1: Verse 51
Appoint Aaron and his sons to serve as priests; anyone else who approaches the sanctuary must be put to death."
Numbers Chapter 3: Verse 10
" 'An alien living among you who wants to celebrate the LORD's Passover must do so in accordance with its rules and regulations. You must have the same regulations for the alien and the native-born.' " The Cloud Above the Tabernacle
Numbers Chapter 9: Verse 14
as the LORD directed him through Moses. This was to remind the Israelites that no one except a descendant of Aaron should come to burn incense before the LORD, or he would become like Korah and his followers.
Numbers Chapter 16: Verse 40
They are to join you and be responsible for the care of the Tent of Meeting,all the work at the Tent,and no one else may come near where you are.
"You are to be responsible for the care of the sanctuary and the altar, so that wrath will not fall on the Israelites again.
I myself have selected your fellow Levites from among the Israelites as a gift to you, dedicated to the LORD to do the work at the Tent of Meeting.
But only you and your sons may serve as priests in connection with everything at the altar and inside the curtain. I am giving you the service of the priesthood as a gift. Anyone else who comes near the sanctuary must be put to death." Offerings for Priests and Levites
Numbers Chapter 18: Verses 4 - 7
The man who gathers up the ashes of the heifer must also wash his clothes, and he too will be unclean till evening. This will be a lasting ordinance both for the Israelites and for the aliens living among them.
Numbers Chapter 19: Verse 10
These six towns will be a place of refuge for Israelites, aliens and any other people living among them, so that anyone who has killed another accidentally can flee there.
Numbers Chapter 35: Verse 15
but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. Deuteronomy Chapter 5: Verse 14
He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the alien, giving him food and clothing.
And you are to love those who are aliens, for you yourselves were aliens in Egypt.
Deuteronomy Chapter 10: Verses 18 - 19
Do not eat anything you find already dead. You may give it to an alien living in any of your towns, and he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner. But you are a people holy to the LORD your God. Do not cook a young goat in its mother's milk. Tithes
Deuteronomy Chapter 14: Verse 21
be sure to appoint over you the king the LORD your God chooses. He must be from among your own brothers. Do not place a foreigner over you, one who is not a brother Israelite.
Deuteronomy Chapter 17: Verse 15
You may charge a foreigner interest, but not a brother Israelite, so that the LORD your God may bless you in everything you put your hand to in the land you are entering to possess.
Deuteronomy Chapter 23: Verse 20
Do not take advantage of a hired man who is poor and needy, whether he is a brother Israelite or an alien living in one of your towns.
Pay him his wages each day before sunset, because he is poor and is counting on it. Otherwise he may cry to the LORD against you, and you will be guilty of sin.
Fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their fathers; each is to die for his own sin.
Do not deprive the alien or the fatherless of justice, or take the cloak of the widow as a pledge.
Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and the LORD your God redeemed you from there. That is why I command you to do this.
When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it. Leave it for the alien, the fatherless and the widow, so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.
When you beat the olives from your trees, do not go over the branches a second time. Leave what remains for the alien, the fatherless and the widow.
When you harvest the grapes in your vineyard, do not go over the vines again. Leave what remains for the alien, the fatherless and the widow.
Deuteronomy Chapter 24: Verses 14 - 21
If brothers are living together and one of them dies without a son, his widow must not marry outside the family. Her husband's brother shall take her and marry her and fulfill the duty of a brother-in-law to her.
Deuteronomy Chapter 25: Verse 5
"Cursed is the man who withholds justice from the alien, the fatherless or the widow." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"
Deuteronomy Chapter 27: Verse 19
All Israel, aliens and citizens alike, with their elders, officials and judges, were standing on both sides of the ark of the covenant of the LORD, facing those who carried it,the priests, who were Levites. Half of the people stood in front of Mount Gerizim and half of them in front of Mount Ebal, as Moses the servant of the LORD had formerly commanded when he gave instructions to bless the people of Israel.
Afterward, Joshua read all the words of the law,the blessings and the curses,just as it is written in the Book of the Law.
There was not a word of all that Moses had commanded that Joshua did not read to the whole assembly of Israel, including the women and children, and the aliens who lived among them.
Joshua Chapter 8: Verses 33 - 35
"As for the foreigner who does not belong to your people Israel but has come from a distant land because of your name-
for men will hear of your great name and your mighty hand and your outstretched arm,when he comes and prays toward this temple,
then hear from heaven, your dwelling place, and do whatever the foreigner asks of you, so that all the peoples of the earth may know your name and fear you, as do your own people Israel, and may know that this house I have built bears your Name.
1 Kings Chapter 8: Verses 41 - 43
Solomon took a census of all the aliens who were in Israel, after the census his father David had taken; and they were found to be 153,600.
He assigned 70,000 of them to be carriers and 80,000 to be stonecutters in the hills, with 3,600 foremen over them to keep the people working.
2 Chronicles Chapter 2: Verses 17 - 18
The LORD watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.
Psalms Chapter 146: Verse 9
Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the alien or the poor. In your hearts do not think evil of each other.'
Zechariah Chapter 7: Verse 10
"So I will come near to you for judgment. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive aliens of justice, but do not fear me," says the LORD Almighty. Robbing God
Malachi Chapter 3: Verse 5
"Yes, he does," he replied. When Peter came into the house, Jesus was the first to speak. "What do you think, Simon?" he asked. "From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes,from their own sons or from others?"
"From others," Peter answered.
Matthew Chapter 17: Verses 25 - 26
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?
When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?
When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,
I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'
"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'
"He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'
"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."
Matthew Chapter 25: Verses 35 - 46
Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.
Hebrews Chapter 13: Verse 2
Dear friend, you are faithful in what you are doing for the brothers, even though they are strangers to you.
