RIO DE JAINERO, Brazil, Sept. 1, 2011 -- Although the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI announced that Rio de Jainero will be the city for World Youth Day 2013, there is still much confusion as to what the exact dates of this holy event are.

L'Osservatore Romano has reported that the dates will be July 23-28, but this has not been confirmed by the Vatican or the Archdiocese of Rio de Jainero.

The Catholic Pilgrim Office will keep you informed once we are given confirmation on the exact dates.
