Homeschooling Pioneer Launches Life Skills Courses for Middle and High Schoolers

EL PASO, Texas, Sept. 7, 2011 -- Nationally-known homeschooling speaker and author Joyce Swann has launched the first course in her new Life Skills series, designed to help middle and high school-aged students succeed after graduation.

"Writing for Today," helps students hone their writing and English skills. "In the 21st century, good communication skills are critical to success in higher education and the workforce," says Swann.

Swann is best-known for homeschooling her own ten children from the first grade through masters' degrees before their seventeenth birthdays. Her own story "Looking Backward: My Twenty-Five Years as a Homeschooling Mother" was published in February of 2011.
