'Summer of Mercy 2.0' Leaders and Organizers to Hold News Conference on Eve of National Pro-life Event

GERMANTOWN, Md., July 29, 2011 -- The Summer of Mercy 2.0 will focus on late-term abortions performed by Leroy Carhart in Germantown, Maryland.

When: Saturday, July 30, at 2:00 P.M.
Where: The news conference will be held on Wisteria Dr. located outside of Leroy Carharts clinic at 13233 Executive Dr. in Germantown, Maryland.

The group will also discuss how this marks the opening act concerning abortion for the 2012 Presidential Campaign and exposing President Obama's radical pro-abortion position.
Danielle Versluys, 28 and the Communications Director for the California based Survivors, states;
"As a member of this emerging generation of pro-life activists, I cannot remain silent while Carhart routinely kills innocent viable children.
"I am standing alongside the brave, loving people who are gathering in Germantown, Maryland to represent my generation as a voice for the children scheduled to die at the hands of Leroy Carhart.
"It is my hope that the eyes of the nation will be upon the 'Summer of Mercy 2.0' over the next 9 days and that our peaceful, prayerful witness will draw attention to the barbaric acts of this abortionist."
