This observance will be for you like a sign on your hand and a reminder on your forehead that the law of the LORD is to be on your lips. For the LORD brought you out of Egypt with his mighty hand.
Exodus Chapter 13: Verse 9

The LORD said to Moses, "I am going to come to you in a dense cloud, so that the people will hear me speaking with you and will always put their trust in you." Then Moses told the LORD what the people had said.
Exodus Chapter 19: Verse 9

When Moses went and told the people all the LORD's words and laws, they responded with one voice, "Everything the LORD has said we will do."
Moses then wrote down everything the LORD had said. He got up early the next morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain and set up twelve stone pillars representing the twelve tribes of Israel.
Exodus Chapter 24: Verses 3 - 4

Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the LORD your God that I give you.
Deuteronomy Chapter 4: Verse 2

See, I have taught you decrees and laws as the LORD my God commanded me, so that you may follow them in the land you are entering to take possession of it.

Deuteronomy Chapter 6: Verses 6 - 9

He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.
Deuteronomy Chapter 8: Verse 3

When he takes the throne of his kingdom, he is to write for himself on a scroll a copy of this law, taken from that of the priests, who are Levites.
It is to be with him, and he is to read it all the days of his life so that he may learn to revere the LORD his God and follow carefully all the words of this law and these decrees
Deuteronomy Chapter 17: Verses 18 - 19

When you have crossed the Jordan into the land the LORD your God is giving you, set up some large stones and coat them with plaster.
Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, promised you.

Deuteronomy Chapter 27: Verse 8

The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.
Deuteronomy Chapter 29: Verse 29

Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach.
It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, "Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?"
Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, "Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?"
No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.
Deuteronomy Chapter 30: Verses 11 - 14

So Moses wrote down this law and gave it to the priests, the sons of Levi, who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and to all the elders of Israel.
Then Moses commanded them: "At the end of every seven years, in the year for canceling debts, during the Feast of Tabernacles,
when all Israel comes to appear before the LORD your God at the place he will choose, you shall read this law before them in their hearing.
Assemble the people,men, women and children, and the aliens living in your towns,so they can listen and learn to fear the LORD your God and follow carefully all the words of this law.

Deuteronomy Chapter 31: Verses 9 - 13

"Now write down for yourselves this song and teach it to the Israelites and have them sing it, so that it may be a witness for me against them.

"Take this Book of the Law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God. There it will remain as a witness against you.

Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Joshua Chapter 1: Verse 8

Joshua said to the Israelites, "Come here and listen to the words of the LORD your God.
Joshua Chapter 3: Verse 9

There, in the presence of the Israelites, Joshua copied on stones the law of Moses, which he had written.
All Israel, aliens and citizens alike, with their elders, officials and judges, were standing on both sides of the ark of the covenant of the LORD, facing those who carried it,the priests, who were Levites. "This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.
